This Privacy Policy explains how Beardown Ltd (“we”, “us”), operator of OffTheCuff, handles information when you use offthecuff.ai. We keep it short and we keep data collection to the minimum needed to write your speech.

What we collect

• Speech inputs. The occasion, names, relationships, stories, and preferences you enter so we can draft your speech.
• Account details. If you sign in, your name and email from your identity provider (Keycloak).
• Payment data. Handled by Stripe. We store whether a speech was paid for, not your card details.
• Usage & diagnostics. Privacy-friendly, self-hosted analytics (Umami) and error diagnostics (Sentry) to keep the service working.

How we use it

To generate and store your speeches, provide your account and library, take payment for longer speeches, and improve reliability. We do not sell your personal data.

AI processing

Speech inputs are sent to our AI model provider to generate your draft. We do not use your content to train models, and we ask our providers not to either where that option is available.

Retention & your rights

Anonymous drafts are tied to a device cookie; signed-in speeches remain in your library until you delete them. Deleting your account removes your speeches and account data. You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time.
